Go on the skymiles site, ways to earn miles and then hit Featured Limited-Time offers, there is a plethora of offers.Giving someoone wine for the holidays, there is a wine club, getting flowers for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner,FTD has a 25 miles per $ offer. Skymiles dining has a promotion which you must register for earn a bonus 5000 miles. 500 miles for every $50 you spend up to 5000 miles. There are many more listed on this page.

The skymiles shopping mall is also having bonuses on many favorite stores. Barnes and Noble is giving 6 miles per $, k-mart is 3 miles per $ and there are so many others.

So now let's look at the possible earning potential.

Eat out 10 times at $50 each 5000 miles
eat out the same 10 times at 3 miles per $ 150 miles
plus 50 % bonus from 'tis the season promo 75 miles
